I've been seeing some promotions in my area for a production that I find to be very disturbing, so I wanted to share with you guys and let you know what the deal is in case you start seeing them in your neighborhoods.
The advertisements are for a show called Shen Yun with the subtitle China Before Communism. Let me tell you a little something about China before communism.
In the years directly before the rise of the Communist Party of China, China was a country that was run by warlords. It had no formalized state. It was not a great place to be in.
Before that, China was subjected to what they called the Century of Humiliation, in which they were forced to endure every disgrace and every hardship that could possibly be imposed on them by the United States and the rest of the white west.
So that being said, I don't really know why anyone who pretends to have the Chinese people's best interested heart would want to glorify such a period in the country's history.
The production is also tied to the US State Department and to a right-wing extremist religious cult known as the Falun Gong. you're probably familiar with the US State Department and all its dirty dealings, but in case you don't know about the Falun Gong. Let's talk about it for a second.
The Falun Gong is a cult of religious fundamentalists with ties to the CIA, and if that wasn't bad enough, they also are avid Trump supporters.
So yeah, do not let yourself be fooled into being party to this propagandistic project that is very much not in favor of the well-being of the Chinese people.
